21×42/15 Cornice Alder

Handmade in Finland, the black alder cornice is perfect for finishing and harmonising the interior. The robust, knot-free and resin-free black alder has a lovely warm colour. The black alder cornice retains its dimensions and is highly resistant to both humidity and heat.

The wood has a beautiful, harmonious-looking reddish tone and a pleasant, mild scent of genuine wood. The popularity of black alder as an interior design material has increased tremendously over the last few years. It is ideal for humid spaces, such as saunas or washrooms, but it is equally well-suited to other interior decor. Black alder moulding endures temperature changes without cracking, either in its natural state or treated, e.g. with paraffin oil or some other protective agent intended for use in saunas.

All of our wood products are manufactured at our own factory in Finland where we treat them at our own state-of-the-art heat treatment facility.
