Heat-treated wood belongs to the best M1 category of the Indoor Air Classification. Our products are heat treated at our modern heat treatment facility in Pieksämäki.

Thanks to its properties, heat-treated aspen is ideal for saunas and humid spaces. Heat-treated aspen products can also be surface-treated with protective agents intended for saunas or paraffin oil, which gives extra depth to the beautiful brown colour of heat-treated aspen and protects the wood.
