Handmade in Finland, the black alder shadow moulding is perfect for finishing and harmonising the interior. The shadow moulding is used to finish the seam between the wall and ceiling. The robust, knot-free and resin-free black alder has a lovely warm colour. It retains its dimensions and is extremely resistant to both humidity and heat.
The wood has a beautiful, harmonious-looking reddish tone and a pleasant, mild scent of genuine wood. The popularity of black alder as an interior design material has increased tremendously over the last few years. It is ideal for humid spaces, such as saunas or washrooms but, equally, it can be used as an interior design panel elsewhere in your home. Black alder moulding endures temperature changes without cracking, either in its natural state or treated with paraffin oil, for instance.
