- Description
Q-grade products are made from A-grade raw materials, but the final products have not met the requirements for A-grade. Products classified as Q-grade may exhibit variations in tone, minor planing defects, and occasional small knots.
These products are sold at a discounted price as clearance batches compared to A-grade. Q-grade products are non-exchangeable and non-returnable.

The warm, reddish-toned STS-profile black alder paneling is an excellent choice for saunas and bathrooms, as well as for other home and interior applications. The STS panel features a modern, sharp-edged profile that brings warmth and understated elegance to any space.
Black Alder is particularly well-suited for humid environments and saunas: it withstands heat well, does not overheat even at high temperatures, and resists temperature fluctuations without cracking. Resin-free alder is not only beautiful but also highly durable and of high quality, making it suitable for both dry and humid spaces.
Black Alder can be used as is in its natural wood finish or treated with sauna protection products such as paraffin oil or sauna wax to enhance its lifespan and durability.
