Finnish aspen grows in the clean northern forests. Naturally light in color, knot-free, and pleasantly warm to the touch, it creates a serene and timeless atmosphere in the sauna.
For us, every tree matters. We use only raw material sourced from responsibly managed Finnish forests, with fully traceable origins. Short transportation distances and domestic production ensure a low carbon footprint and consistently high quality.
Our panels are manufactured in Pieksämäki, close to the forest, with Finnish craftsmanship. Local production allows for careful finishing and uniform quality in every board. The result is a 100% Finnish aspen panel, available exclusively from Pieksäwood. Each panel tells a story of Finnish forests, craftsmanship, and a sustainable future.
We have worked with long-term dedication since 2024, and today we are proud to say that our Finnish aspen products have been awarded the Key Flag Symbol, a mark of Finnish origin and quality.

Sávu Collection
The Sávu Collection is more than a sauna material – it is a promise of sustainable forest management, pure nature, and Finnish expertise. Designed in Finland and handcrafted in Pieksämäki, Sávu aspen panels draw inspiration from the pristine northern landscape. All panels are made from 100% Finnish aspen.
The collection includes six carefully selected sauna panel and bench designs that combine the durability of thermally modified wood with a deep, chocolate-brown tone, creating a soft, velvety atmosphere. The products are designed to be easily combined for a harmonious and beautiful result.
All Sávu Collection materials are thermally modified and manufactured by us in Pieksämäki, ensuring exceptional quality and refined finishing. The thermal modification process is completely chemical-free, using only hot air and steam.

Roots Collection
The Roots panel collection highlights authentic 100% Finnish aspen, responsibly produced – discover the beauty of knotty Finnish aspen.
Roots does not hide knots – it celebrates them. Roots products are made from Finnish aspen, using the knotty section of the trunk generated as a side stream of our knot-free premium production. Each panel tells a story of Finnish forests through its unique grain patterns and natural knots.
From forest to finished product entirely in Pieksämäki: Roots products are sawn from Finnish aspen at our own sawmill in the heart of Savo. Naturally light and beautiful, aspen is a harmonious and timeless material. After sawing, the wood can be left untreated or thermally modified to a rich brown tone using only hot air and steam. Each panel is planed by hand to ensure a high-quality and durable finish.
