Roots Aspen Panel celebrates the natural beauty of knots, and is manufactured using the by-products of our premium production process at our sawmill and planing mill in Pieksämäki. An A-grade product that showcases the genuine, natural, and knotty beauty of aspen. Suitable for wall and ceiling paneling in saunas and interiors, as well as for interior surfaces. Natural light color, easy to treat with the desired shade or use as is. Resin-free and dimensionally stable.

The Roots collection showcases authentic Finnish aspen that has been responsibly sourced – discover the beauty of knotty Finnish aspen.
Our Roots aspen panel celebrates what others might hide: it is made from 100% Finnish aspen, the knotty part of the trunk that is a by-product of our knot-free premium production. Each panel tells a story of Finnish forests with its unique grain patterns and natural knots.
From forest to finished product – entirely in Pieksämäki: Roots aspen paneling is sawn from Finnish aspen at our own sawmill in Pieksämäki, in the center of Finland. After sawing, the boards are planed to a 15×120 mm STS 2 profile. The product is fully A-grade in all other respects, but it contains natural knots.
Versatile uses: Perfect for wall paneling and ceilings in saunas and interiors when you want to choose Finnish aspen that shows its authentic, knotty beauty. Light-colored aspen and its natural knots create a warm and authentic atmosphere in the space. Aspen is easy to treat with the shade of your choice or use as is.
