Heat treatment makes black alder even harder and more durable. It has an elegant surface reminiscent of hardwood as well as a lovely scent. It can be treated or used it in its natural state. Paraffin treatment deepens the beautiful dark hue of the heat-treated black alder bench board, protecting the wood and making it easier to clean.

Our wood products are manufactured at our own factory in Finland where we treat them at our own state-of-the-art heat treatment facility. Heat-treated wood belongs to the best M1 category of the Indoor Air Classification.
