NEW! 15 × 120 mm STS 0 is a modern interior panel made from heat-treated aspen. The STS 0 profile creates a calm, continuous wood surface with a very narrow joint between the panels, making it ideal for saunas, bathrooms and other interior spaces. The panel can be used on its own or combined with other Pieksäwood panels and slatted panels. The new STS 0 profile has also been designed especially for use with LUMO slatted panels, offering a natural way to combine continuous wood surfaces, slatted details and indirect lighting.

15×120 STS0 Panel Heat-Treated Aspen
15 × 120 mm STS 0 heat-treated aspen panel is a modern and timeless interior panel ideal for saunas, bathrooms and other residential and public interior spaces. The STS 0 profile creates a calm, continuous wood surface with a very narrow joint between the panels.
Knot-free and resin-free Finnish heat-treated aspen is a beautiful and pleasant material for both wall and ceiling surfaces. Heat treatment gives the aspen a warm brown tone and enhances the natural character and grain of the wood. It also improves the dimensional stability of the wood and reduces its response to changes in humidity.
The clean-lined STS 0 profile is ideal for creating calm and continuous wood surfaces. The panel can be used on its own or freely combined with other Pieksäwood panels and slatted panels to create individual designs. The 15 × 120 mm STS 0 profile has also been designed especially for use with the LUMO slatted panels, making it a natural choice for surfaces combining continuous panelling, slatted details and indirect lighting.
We saw, heat-treat and plane our panels from aspen at our own factory in Pieksämäki, Finland. The heat treatment is carried out entirely without chemicals, using only heat and steam.
