With the versatile KARE moulding, you can create unique interior design solutions for everything from kitchen islands to accent walls in bedrooms, and details in saunas and bathrooms. The only limit is your imagination!
KARE moulding is now also available in a stunning chocolate brown shade from the Sávu Collection, achieved entirely without chemicals by heat treating the wood using hot air and steam. The noble surface, warm brown shade and pleasant scent of the heat-treated wood bring luxury and a natural atmosphere to your interior. This Sávu Collection KARE moulding is made from knot-free, resin-free, heat-treated alder. This makes it an ecological, dimensionally stable and extremely durable choice for both wet and dry interior applications. The beautiful darkness and soft surface texture of the material are especially accentuated when light hits its wavy shape.
KARE products are designed in collaboration with interior designer Emilia Karenina. The product family originated when Emilia was building her own home. The soft design language of KARE panels and slatted products is reminiscent of waves rippling in the summer breeze. These undulating products look their best in natural light, which highlights their lively surface.
The Sávu Collection consists of six carefully selected sauna panels and bench board models that can be easily combined. The products in this new range have been given their stunning deep brown colour through a chemical-free heat treatment process using only hot air and water vapour. They combine the durability of heat-treated wood with a deep, dark brown tone to create a unique atmosphere in the room. We manufacture and heat-treat all our Sávu Collection products ourselves in Pieksämäki, Finland, in the heart of Savo.
