Heat-treated Black Alder panel 15 x 90 Flat TG (STS)

Knot-free and resin-free, the black alder panel is a highly durable sauna panel, which can also be used as an interior design panel elsewhere in your home. In the heat treatment process, the black alder is dyed through to achieve a beautiful, dark brown colour, a stylish surface resembling hardwood as well as a pleasant scent. With heat treatment, the thermal insulation capacity of black alder is further improved, so it does not feel hot. The treatment also improves its moisture and rot resistance.

The wood can be surface treated. We recommend a paraffin oil or sauna wax treatment to deepen the brown colour of the heat-treated black alder panel and protect the surface of the wood.
