It retains its dimensions and is extremely resistant to both humidity and heat. Long-lasting, heat-treated aspen benches are very comfortable to sit on as their nicely smooth surface does not heat up even in high temperatures.
Heat-treated wood lives less than non-heat-treated wood. It has an elegant surface reminiscent of hardwood as well as a lovely scent. Heat-treated aspen can be treated or used it in its natural state. Paraffin oil treatment deepens the beautiful dark hue of the heat-treated aspen, protecting the wood and making it easier to clean.
Our wooden products are manufactured at our own factory in Finland, and we heat treat them in our cutting-edge heat treatment facility. Heat-treated wood belongs to the best M1 category of the Indoor Air Classification.
