The jamb is made of high-quality, heat-treated, brown aspen with a pleasant woody scent. Handmade in Finland, the jamb is ideal for effecting a high-quality finishing touch to window jambs.
Heat treatment makes aspen harder and more durable. The emissions generated by heat-treated wood into indoor air are very low. Heat-treated wood belongs to the best M1 category of the Indoor Air Classification. Pieksäwood has its own cutting-edge heat treatment facility where all of our products are heat treated by our skilled staff.
All of our wooden products are handmade in Pieksämäki, in the heart of the Savo region. Our wooden products are planed by hand – so we can guarantee the high quality and durability of our products.
